United Chambers Marketing Committee Report

February 2006

The huge success of our November Mayors' luncheon and our Installation and Recognition Dinner in January has acted as a catalyst in bringing your Chambers an opportunity to increase membership and value to the existing members.

The outgrowth of these events has created a strong tie with the Daily News where they are writing a weekly story on each chamber, exalting the unique characteristics of each one and reporting on the individuality of the community in which they serve.

We are currently working with Cal State University Northridge to develop a marketing program both for the United Chambers and its Chamber members. This program is to be complete by spring 2006. Our marketing team is investigating methods to increase your membership and educate your existing members about your Legislative efforts including, tax reform, worker compensation reform, Education reforms offered by you, through the UCC and its strategic partners.

Our campaign for funds to deliver these services by both the UCC and you is continuous and our membership program will grow in order to achieve these and future requirements.

Thank you,
